stomping grounds are bountiful in every city for all to enjoy freedom of culture and dignity
Our mission is to accelerate the advancement of safe and imaginative stomping grounds as essential cultural, equitable, social networks that improve the quality of life for everyone.
Stomping grounds, like music, are an essential part of daily life with the power to unite people and give dignity to everyone, regardless of age, gender, class, or race. They are not only a nutritious and delicious elixir, but also a social equalizer.
An alternative voice with outsider's eyes, we aim to be the change that we wish to see in the world. We look at and present things a little differently.
Founded in November 2014 by Tea, camelpolitan is an independent webzine about trends and directions in the development of urban gathering spaces. Parks, plazas, promenades, marketplaces, commercial alleys, and the trails that connect these spaces. Driven by a mission of inclusivity, we feature a wide range of creators and creations that contribute to relaxation in busy cities. Showcasing the work of everyone, from artists to architects, and an eclectic mix of projects, from art installations to masterplanned communities, we are curators of a vast landscape that reflects diversity in the making of great streetlife. By attracting a wide audience, camelpolitan breaks down barriers and inspires anyone who wants to dream fearlessly about new ways and places to stand, sit, and talk in the open.
Let imagination be more important than knowledge.
